It was just last week when I looked at Dez Bryant and said to myself, boy he has finally got it. He signed on time, he reported to camp, he wanted to show he is ready to make an impact. Then he turns around and refuses to take part in some minor rookie hazing. What are you doing? Do not draw attention to yourself. Do not call out your teammates. Do not distinguish yourself as anything less than a team player. Just do it, show your teammates you're a man and be done with it.
One thing is for sure. We better never hear of Mr. Bryant taking part in the rookie hazing after this season. If he does partake, every rookie is authorized to beat the crap out of him.
Holy crap. If you are the Rams, why would you even bring the name T.O. up in your discussions? The team is terrible with or without him. They need to do a serious rebuilding job. Why risk any turmoil by exposing quarterback Sam Bradford to his shenanigans? Do yourself a favor and start developing your young WRs.
Will Wes Welker be ready by the beginning of the season or is this another Patriots smoke screen? If Welker is healthy you have to expect the Patriots offense to be explosive. If he isn't there is a chance that we could see a lot of holes in the armor. I would be willing to bet that he may be on the field to start the season but his impact won't be felt until week 5 or 6.
Interesting how a lot of experts are picking the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl this season. I would just like to ask. Based on what?
Did they get a new coach who always seems to be over matched in the big games? Did they get a new gun slinger who simply hasn't got it done when the pressure is on. Is Minnesota, who beat the Boys 34-3 in the playoffs, supposed to drop off the charts? Are the Giants worse and if so will they still beat the Boys twice?
Dez Bryant is already stirring it up in camp T.O. style. The OL is older and needs to step up. Miles Austin needs to prove he isn't a one hit wonder ala Roy Williams. The running game needs to get better and stay healthy. The defense needs to get more consistent and stop giving up big games to opponents.
Until I see answers and improvements from the entire team, I am not ready to predict the Cowboys as anything more than a good playoff caliber team. Show me the special on this team that it takes to win a championship.
